Dave:
Have you tried dropping a chain into the tank and letting that slosh around
for awhile? Some have been know to put the tank in the back of their P/U so
that it works as they drive around.

Subject: [AT] Fuel problems with my A
Does anybody know of a 1/4"mpt gascolator with a stand
pipe and in-tank screen like I have in 3/8"? I've
tried cleaning the tank a couple of times, soldered a
small screen on top (in the tank, used one from a
small engine filter). Still having major problems
clogging up the valve part.
When I cleaned the tank I flushed (repeatedly), and
then used my favorite deruster, cheap toilet bowl
cleaner. I 'think' I have all the flakes and large
stuff out. Is there something I'm missing, or do I
need to resort to a "sloshing" compound?
Just want to be able to mow the grass at the farm.
TIA
