I've found oven cleaner works well on areas that have been subjected to lots
of heat and or grease/fuel. (blocks, heads valve covers. clutch housings
etc )
It also works well on ruining serial # tags!!!
It is still my favorite degreaser. It just have 2 rules about using it--use
eye and respiratory protection and don't spray it on anything you aren't
intending on painting!!!!!!!!

I just thought of someting. Go to your local grocery store and buy some
Greased Lightning cleaner. It comes in a spray bottle and acts like oven cleaner.
It will cleane a baked on grease engine well.
