Tried that to no avail.  I don't believe the M uses restrictors.

 Have an air compressor? Hook a line up to the port that the gauge hooks
to and put some air through it in reverse. See if a passage is plugged
up, Use regulated air pressure and keep the pressure at around 30 or so.
I'm betting a piece of sludge is blocking a passage an preventing oil
from getting to the top end. Does the M use flow restrictors to lower
the flow to the top end?
