[AT] Bad valve on an M- Update

The oil pressure has always been right where the manual says it should. Oil
is getting to one end of the head but not the other. I'll start looking for
the reason.

Thanks!

Dick

Dick: First impression is that the top end is not oiling and you may
have some bad rocker arms/pushrods. That silver gray dust should not be
there and it sounds like metal to metal results. Have you run it with
the valve cover off to see if any oil is getting to the top. You may be
lucky or unlucky depending on which way you think, but find the reason
no oil in top-does the engine have good oil pressure? New
rockers/p-rods are cheaper than overhauls.
