You are correct, the New Holland dealer is the one you want.  If I am not
mistaken, Mike Sloane works at a New Holland dealership and might be able to
shed some light on parts availability.

This might seem like a simple/silly questions. I need to find some Ford 
parts (gas tank shut off for one) for an 800 series tractor. Are New 
Holland dealers the current day version of Ford dealers? Our local Ford 
dealer closed shop and I need to look for another one but wasn't sure 
what to look under.
