If he was plowing a nice loose sandy loam and not too deep(5-6") and the
motor still had lots of wind left in it then he might have pulled the 2-16".
In my heavy clay if I take too deep a bite with a 2-12" I either run out of
traction or with enough weights I can stall the tractor.
