[AT] Grain Binders and nudity....

Back when I was working for a living and had jobs going on all
over the United States and responsible supervisors on all the jobs, I
seemed to spend a lot of time teaching them to question why things were
being done the way they were and to always have a good reason for what
they did and how they did it. I'd like to think we improved the way
things were done by always looking for a better way - not cheaper, just
better. And there almost always is a better way.

I wasn't picking on Guy Fay. He and the others have done a lot
of hard work scanning these things and getting them on the web site.
They deserve a lot of credit for all the time they have put in. I have
to assume from the quality of the work that they are using the latest
technology and good scanning equipment.

My point was that pasting that banner across a large part of
the scans is ruining what they set out to do and it is being put there
most likely because someone said to do it. And I question not the right
to do it but the wisdom of the act. Especially with all the technology
out there to do it in a way it does not show. That was all. I clicked
on that link this morning and the first thing I should have seen was
what that woman was not wearing but instead I saw the (gasp) banner.
I know I am getting old but I can't be that old. Can I?

The nicest thing about telling the truth is you never have to wonder
what you said.
