I'm pretty sure Princess Auto is unique to Canada in its origins. Started
out in 1942 as a used auto parts supplier. They really got into selling army
surplus after the end of WWII. I can still recall seeing army surplus items
in the catalogues from the 60s. Complete vehicles and power units. Many
items I have never seen anywhere places.  I've saved a few of the old
catalogues just to look back on once in a while. The story of their origin
