Cecil, I really have to agree with you on this one.
I have run Champions for over 30 years in a variety of
engines.  I have also used Autolite, NGK, etc. with
the same success.  I think (my opinion only) that a
combination of wives tales, product loyalty, and wrong
plug application has led to much of the discussion
over the years.  I equate it the same as the
Dodge/Chevy/Ford debate.  The most important thing
about plugs is NOT using a cross-reference list!  Like
a filter cross-reference it is a guide only.  When
choosing a plug use what the application guide tells
you and if your tractor is used harder or (like mine)
much easier  than 'normal' then move up or down 1 heat
range only (again, my opinion).
