Bob,

Bring one over and I'll show you how to do it with power off!  Actually, a
65 HP Cub is able to do multiple loops without losing altitude.  Remember,
altitude and power are pretty much interchangeable, and the entry speed is
gained in a dive.  The recovery gives you the speed for the next one.  To
make the loops round is another matter.

I think I've probably lost my nerve to snap roll one.  The airplanes are
getting too old!  :-)
