Maybe it's like when a former friend of mine was working in Saudi Arabia and
african countries. The employees in those was not the most eager workers if
you know what I mean. One day he showed them a rake that he had made by the
local blacksmith, the flat kind to use on the seam between the asphalt
previously paved and the newly pawed (behind the paver). before that they
used the kind of rakes that one would use for leaves. An ordinary rake is ca.
60 centimetres ~2'. The one using it became very happy whit it, so the next
day he too had visited the blacksmith and came with rake whit a two meter
(~6') blade :-0
Maybe this roller is made by the same guy and he has figured like now I have
to make 4 passes instead of 6?

/Mattias

Mattias,

It confused me too. Up till now I thought of rollers as either tri-roller
or tandem. I guess that one would be a tri-tandem. I don't know where the
vibratories with one roll fit in.
