It's quite obvious that this team of horses hasn't been to the field yet
this day. That/any horse drawn sickle mower was a really heavy load for two
horses and a few hours in the field left a ring of sweat foam around the
collars, cruppers, and bits. Very many days of that work/load made sores on
the horses shoulders that took several days to heal. That tongue load was
heavy and the pull load heavier.
