These things are electronic. Different generations take different boards.
I bought a new board for mine, still no go. As much as I hated to I took
it in to a shop and he put the proper board into it and away she sent and
has been heating fine for 2 years.

Just like the new trucks, dang elecronics. You can't just clean the carb
anymore.
