[AT] A real antique tractor question!

There is this old fella that like to help on my tractors, but he isn't
very mechanical. I usually find odd little jobs for him to do while I
train and supervise, then he does pretty well.

 

Well, I handed him an ignition switch to my M-M Avery V to clean up and
he cut off "that funny looking wire with the string wrapped around it"
and threw it away. So here is the question: Does anybody know what size
and wattage a field resistor might be, or where can I get another one?
<weak grin> It's a 6VDC generator, pretty sure it is a Delco, probably a
20-25 amp size, but I don't think that matters.
