[AT] Battery Chargers

Those booster/chargers are great when I go to start a cold diesel engine and
the battery is not quite up to snuff. I can't remember just how much boost
this one has but it has really saved me some time when I need a tractor in a
hurry and don't want to change batteries.
Unfortunately, I am guilty of forgetfulness sometimes. Like the day I opened
up the quonset shed doors and was greeted with the acrid aroma of sulfur in
the air. That told me right away that I had forgotten to set the switch on
the charger the night before. This poor old 12 volt battery that I had
intended to slow charge overnight had been getting full boost all that time
and was probably boiled dry by then. Lucky it was not in a vehicle and no
major harm done. The old saying, "more haste= less speed" applies here.
