Long time no talk.  

Anyway to re-polorize.  Connect everything back up.  Before you start
the engine (positive ground) momentarily connect a jumper between the
BAT terminal of the regulator and the A terminal of the generator.

told me to make sure I always polarize a new voltage regulator before
putting it on.  How do I do this???
