Rob;
I can't say enough good stuff about having a backhoe available for yard
chores. In fact I can't imagine how people do yard work without one. I lucked out
and picked up my MF202 for $4000. The hoe mounts to the back of the loader
frame and is easily removable allowing me to use the PTO and 3-pt. hitch. I
bought the tractor from a friend of a friend and believe I got a great deal. I've
had mixed results with purchases from dealers..one good experience and one not
so good. Unfortunately, I have to take credit for the not so good deal...I
should have been more cautious and listened to the little voice in my head
telling me to walk away from the deal.
Stick with it and I'm sure you'll find the machine for you.
Good luck!

rented a New Holland tractor last fall that had a backhoe and front end
loader, and that thing was awesome. It was exactly what I need around
here. Do I have any options that are in the reasonable range for getting
such a machine for less than say $7,500? I don't care if it is old or
new, I just need the front end loader and back hoe in a bad way...
