I met Dave at SIAM this morning.  I think maybe he uses Maytag's as some
sort of fuel additive for the hit and miss engines he runs.  :-)

I'd have to go look again, but, seems to me there is a
similar picture floating around depicting a rather
large Maytag 'ENGINE' (hee hee).  Was the picture of
the cicada taken by the same photographer?  It is a
fun site, thanks.
While I'm thinking of it, did you ever 'bury the
hatchet' or are you still on a crusade against the
venerable and loveable Maytags? <grins>
