My 6/12 volt 4/8 amp charger is a Montgomery Ward that my dad purchased for
the farm about 48 years ago. I had to fix it about 4 years ago, the solder
joint that attaches the output cord failed. Resoldered it and it still
works just fine.

Picked up a heavy duty Centaury 6/12/18/24 volts and up to about 120 amps at
an auction last year for $30. Put a new power cord on it and it works fine
too.
