[AT] How do you polarize a voltage reagulator??

You don't polarize a regulator nor an alternator, they are manufactured for
negative or postive ground and you can't change it.  Generators need to be
polarized but only if they've been hooked up wrong or otherwise polarized
wrong.  Starters are not polarity-sensitive; they work the same with either
polarity.
