	Hi Don:
Does it make any difference if the PTO is in gear or not?
Sort of sounds like it could be bearings in the
transmission. What kind of condition is the tranny lube in?
On the up side, taking the top cover off to take a look
inside is not much harder than removing the radiator cap off
on some big old tractors. :-) Just a few cap screws and
nothing in the way.
You won't need a hoist to lift the top cover and shifter. :-)
CUBs are a lot of fun and the ladies thinking they are
"cute" is a good thing.
It is probably a little far and short notice for you to
bring it to CUB FEST this week end (but you are certainly
welcome to bring it). There will be a batch of guys here
that have a lot of CUB knowledge between them. One of the
other nice things about CUBs is that it doesn't take a big
expensive trailer to haul one.
	The CUB board at:
www.farmallcub.com
is a great resource.
