Don't get rid of them rocks. May come in useful later
on. I own a tractor trailer and haul dry bulk cement
to a family owned concrete company. Been doing it for
9 years or so. This is the strangest year I've ever
seen.
This country has a national cement shortage. It
has gotten to the point that many of the cement mills
are rationing how much goes to certain concrete
plants.
China's good economy is causing it. Much of the
cement that comes to this country from overseas is
going to China.
So it may turn out as years ago. If you want to
pour a concrete pad. Set up your forms, find all the
big rocks and field stone you can and concrete around
the rocks. I have a few pads that were done that way
around the barn. As well as the concrete walls of the
barn were done that way. Way back when?

The good thing about the shortage...NO MORE SATURDAY
WORK!!!! for me...praise, praise...the bad...waiting
in lines at the mill. Wait til summer really kicks
in!!!
