Rob,
You hit the nail on the head. Social Security is just a prettied-up form of
Socialism. Distribution of wealth - you pay into it but there is no
guarantee that you will get anything back out of it because some bleeding
heart bureaucrat will decide someone else needed it more than you and gave
it away while you were out busting your hump to keep paying in. Used to be
that families and churches took care of their own and the needy and the govt
didn't need to "help out".
