Farmer my wife came up one and gave me this  funny looking liquid it just 
looked like water and had no smell to it. But the  stuff was the best skeeter 
repellent I have ever used.
It was Shacklys Basic  "H" ( not sure of spelling) a detergent for clothes 
washing.  Mix it with  water it doesn't take much we have had a tiny bottle of 
the stuff for years  now.  You spray around the area and on the guest as it 
won't harm anything  or even smell or let you know that you even have it on. We 
use one of the small  spray bottle to just put a little bit on your bare arms 
and face and your  clothes yes it won't hurt them it just soap for washing them 
in.  Look in  the yellow pages for a dealer near you it comes in gallon 
bottle and you can  give samples out to people for years to come and still have 
enough for  yourself.
