HI Carl:
Sounds like you're all ready doing more than is required to be a good
neighbor. Had a neighbor like that when I lived in town, only he was the last 
one to move into the neighbor hood, he had all the answers, all he seemed to
be good at was complaining. I listened to his complaining for a year or so,
than finally had enough, told him what I thought of him. Felt bad in a way,
but it ended the squacking. He didn't talk to me any more, but it wasn't a
loss
after all the only time I seen him he had some complaint.
Seems you were more than polite, if it continues be less polite.
