[AT] Gas tank

Never have used it on a gas tank but I did use JB to fill in the pits in
they cylinder of my 6 h.p. Fairbanks Morse Z engine. After troweling the JB
in with a straight edge, I honed the cylinder and put it back together.
That was 1986 and it still runs like a champ and the JB is still in place.
I would think if you get the area cleaned well and let the JB cure it would
probably do a good job. If you have pin holes in your tank you might want
to try a stuff called "Quik Poly" available from a guy on the engine list
named Joe Kelly. It is a very liquid epoxy that you can mix and pour in a
tank, slosh it around and then let it dry. It works wonders. The same
stuff is available also as "Extreme Poly" from other sources....or at least
it was the last time I looked.
