i got my 530 rewired and running with a new ignition
switch w/ the help of the wiring diagrams provided 
by dean,(thanks again!) and went back to positive ground.

my ammeter now drifts slightly positive, but doesnt increase
w/ rpms.  whats the trick w/ polarizing the generator? i'm not
sure if thats working properly.

also, besides ebay, where can i get a manual for a 530?
anyone have an extra they want to sell?  they guy i bought
the tractor from has yet to find it, and its been over a year.
