Hi David, that is what I did as insurance after I removed what I could
find. The problem with that is that the stuff is still there but just
blocked out. Anyway, I think I have killed all (or atleast most) of it.
Then I reset the restore point to a date prior to the problem as you
suggested.
For those that don't like XP, I don't know what I would have done if I
hadn't had this restore point feature available with XP. The problem I had
was so bad that I couldn't even operate the computer to look for the
problems until I went to an earlier restore point.
