Of course your right the Throw out bearing would have the depress the 
clutch fingers, and apply pressure to the flywheel, pushing the crank 
forward.


And in thinking about it, there shouldn't be any pressure from the trans 
on the flywheel, just lots of drag from the transmission internal, when 
the clutch is engaged.

It's been a very LLLLOOOONNNGGG day.
