Terry,
At this point our school is not yet full. Technically it was
offered to members of the organization first, but at this point I don't see a
problem with getting a spot. The school is going to be limited to around 75 people,
which hopefully will fill up as the summer goes on and time gets closer.
Without talking to jeff, I would guess we are about halfway there.
The group will be divided into three groups, each rotating through a
series of discussions, then back together for a fire up demonstration and
hands on operation. Several of our members will be giving the discussions,
including Charlie Hendrickson, Jeff Bloemers, Mike Wahl, Paul Reckelberg, Tim Klade
and Jim Laven. I am not really involved in the school itself, but I have heard
of some outside people possibly making a guest appearence. All of the people
involved in the school have good steam backrounds and are working very hard to
make this an informative and enjoyable experience.
If you are interested in attending, you are welcome to join the
WHSEA too. It costs twenty dollars, which includes receiving our newsletter.
Thanks for the feedback on the association. We are working very
hard to bring all steam enthusiasts together in and around Wisconsin.
Thanks again,
Dean Meissner
