[AT] OT - Big computer problem - Update

Thanks for all the offers of support, here's what I accomplished last night. I formatted my hard drive, first running fdisk. Then I installed windows ME (groan) using the disk that came with the system. Everything seemed to go fine, except my screen is only shades of gray. When I open the control panel, my display options are limited to 16 part color. The desktop also appears a little strange, almost like it's in safe mode, things are a little bigger. I figured maybe it is a driver issue, and will play with it more tonight, unless I'm barking up the wrong tree. I also get assorted error messages, so things still may not be right. Any thoughts?
