When I had my heart attack 9 years ago they sent me bu ambulance to Portland
Where I stayed for several days to get me stabilized then they sent me over to
another hospital where they did the bypass.
They wanted me to go to the orintation the night before the operation and I
didn't want to go but my kid and grandkids and wife pushed me into it litterly.
I was the only person in a wheel chair and with two drip bottles attached to
keep me going. The rest of the people in the room were all in great spirit and
talking and having fun and making me feel even worse then this nice nurse
wanted to help pick up my spirits. She we have a great record here 98 percent. I
looked around the room and thought that means 2 don't make it and I'm the
worsed looking guy in the room. Next time I'll stay in my room, I'm sure I will
feel better.
Any I hope all goes well for your wife and I understand the records of
survival are much higher now.
My brother and best frien just went though having stints put in and they are
both doing great. I wish i could have had that my chest wouldn't hurt so much
where they used the skill saw to cut me open.
Boy I hope this doesn't make you feel worse but remember i am doing fair now
and 9 years later and I was real bad so as you can see it is worth it.
