With weather like we have in the mid-section of the country today, a
reliable way to travel could be to ship yourself via Fedex or UPS.  The
total lack of amenities wouldn't be much of a change compared to today's

air travel.  :-)

We bought a Sony Handycam at Sears last night.  The one with the laser
disc. 
they had a return that had only been out of the box for $550 including  
taxes...  I could not pass that up.  It has a Karl Zeiss lens.   Talk
about 
detail....
