[AT] Wire size for welder?? Help welder people!

What?  Where's that?  NEC still says #14 is the standard wire for 15 amp
service in residences.  It must be a strong local electrician's union if
there's a local restriction to #12 or larger.

It might have changed some. At least here, you cannot use #14 in any 
residential application.
