Gene, theres going to be plenty of exercise for tractors and shovels here
after today. We are having a major winter storm with no travel recommended
on highways. Visibility here in the yard ranges up to a quarter mile at
times but its pretty sheltered too.
My main snowblower tractor, the Cockshutt 40 is unusable as of two days ago
when it developed a carburetor problem so its in the workshop waiting for me
to figure out the problem. The 730 Case diesel has the little 7 foot blade
and its ready to go but right now its blocked in the shed by the Cockshutt
50 in the process of an oil change and other maintenance. Massey 90 and
front end loader is similarly blocked in. The only option right now is the
2090 Case with the 8 foot blade but I don't like piling up a lot of snow
this early in the winter as it only creates a snow trap for the next
blizzard.
Guess I better get off to work and get the wheels in motion so that when the
snow finally stops I will be able to make a clearing. Way too much to
shovel.
