[AJD] JD Parts CD on Ebay

So I was bidding on this parts CD on Ebay,  and I was
outbid,  no big deal,  another will come along and I
have all the manuals for the tractors I own.  I just
think I would be nice to have the CD at some point. 

    
    I get an E-mail,  from someone other than the
seller,  offering me a copy of the CD for $50.  My
reply was that I was not interested in a copy,  only
an original.  They responded by offering my their
original for $400 (my max bid on the one I missed out
on)  

     No I am venting here,  but what kind of idiot
would think I would take such an offer..  First of all
I believe that Ebay does frown upon offering items
this way (I have bought items from this seller in the
past I think)  I did not respond to the offer of the
original..  If I could send an E-mail letter bomb I
might consider it..  AAARRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!
