I would get a #2 copper cable with a copper or brass trerminal at each end. Get one long enough to go from the battery to a bolt on the starter. It may not be original, but it will start. Same for the hot lead.... On diesels I use 2/0 cable.. Sometimes it gets cold here in OK Cecil in OK
