[AJD] Tachometer

Does anybody actually have this tachometer? I have long contemplated
getting one as to check the speed on the LUS , Model E and various
sheaves on the Jd 30 combine to get the cylinder and beater bar at the
right speed for the intended crops.. Could you share your view on the
product?

Tachometers of this type are fine for their intended purpuse, but for
use with antique tractors and 
farm equipment I think you would be much better served by a mechanical
dial tachometer.
