[AJD] Valve

As Lou said, D valves are over $100. When I started in this biz, the D valves were an outrageous $24. We like to died!
Years ago I was redoing the head for my Waterloo Boy (which by the way is rumored to be getting its pistons made this winter) in the naive hope that someday I might actually get it together and after installing new guides, new valves,new springs, new caps, new keepers and decking the head I nearly fell over at what I had invested in just the head. When I complained about this to my friend his response was "When you are restoring a Waterloo Boy, you don't ask or complain". True words

Speaking of the WB, any one have any leads on any spare parts at all? It is an early one, 1915. Might save me having to have something made.
