Sstop and think about it alittle Dean.  Kero has more btu's per pound.
Compression ratio has little affect on HP.  If you get good vaporization for
ignition, the heavier the fuel, the more btu,s available.  One of the reasons
for jet fuel over gasoline.  In the 60's we burned 90/96 avgas in the Shooting
Star A/C because of ignition problems.  When the ignition problem was solved we
switched to JP3 for 5% power increase.
