Since your are the resident expert on the 800 series hitch.. ( actually
everyone is more of a expert than me) on this auction on ebay

 'there is a centering bar which I have seen before, but on the
centering bar to the right lower arm is a brace or part. Is that a
kosher part? Or is it just something someone just farmerized on the bar?
I have never seen that with a centering bar.
