You raise a good point about extra stability with long hub wheels on and 
orchard tractor. That may be the reason we often find them on the O 
tractors.

I am sure there are others who could tell you a lot more about the term 
"lister". About all I know is that they made peaks and valleys, and planted 
in the valleys to take advantage of what little moisture fell. This was 
called listing. If you have a copy of the "Operation, Care, and Repair of 
Farm Machinery" you might me able to learn something. At least the 15th 
edition describes it.

You need to adjust your priorities and get that GPO finished!
