Beth,
Did you ever find a solution to your water tank
problem? This should be an easy job for your local
sheetmetal fab shop. What is the diameter and height?
Unless you have a specified thickness in mind I would
suggest 11ga .1196" (about 1/8th) or a little thinner.
Rolling the cylinder is easy and I would imagine
making the top and bottom wont be to hard either. You
may be able to reuse the top as it shoudn't be rusted
badly. I assume you want riveted construction. If
you have trouble let us know and we'll help you find
someone.
