[Steam-engine] galvanized pipe

My wife and I addended Steam Engineers School in PA a few years back. They 
stated that the galvanizing hid flaws and other defects. They  had seen 
cases where the pipe had given out from these hidden flaws. I use nothing 
but #80 black pipe on our 1891 Peerless. Steve
