Rechargable batteries is the way to go.  I have never had one leak.  Get the
NIMH---AA.

Quite often you can find them on eBay an good prices.

Has any one had trouble with Duracell batterys in cameras. i have purchased
the aa for my digital and out of 24 have had about 15 leak. i have taken
them out of the camera when not in use and had them leak just laying on a
shelf. This is the one i take to tractors shows. {to keep it on topic]
