Howdy Frank!

The H-5/H-10 plow were actually one and the same plow. Produced by Deere in
late 1946 and 1947 it was one of the strangest pieces of equipment they made
for the H's and one of the shortest production runs also. The H-5 version is
a one way and the H-10 was the two-way version. If you didn't know from
experience that it was a plow for an H it would be tough to identify, particularly
if not complete with brackets. We believe the H-5/H-10 replaced the H-4 plow
because of it's similarities to the H-4 plow and because the mounting bracket
(the one John has) is a big improvement over the mounting system for the H-4
plows. The H-5/H-10 plow was only available as hydraulic lift, no hand lift
for this particular plow.

We have one in stock if anyone would like photos of it. On another note, we
are nearing the completion of an H-1 mounted plow, would be happy to provide
photos of it as well. Both are neat plows. The H-1 plow will be on display
with our HN at the Republic, MO show, held on September 16-19th. If anyone
would like more information about the show just let me know and I'll be happy to
provide you with all the details. You are all welcome to attend!
