Subject: [Steam-engine] Vacation - Engine Shows

We just returned from Kinzer's and C.V. Antique engine
show. It was sad to see, but none of the steam
engines were steaming at C.V. that stay there. I
asked my relative and he brushed on that the steam
guys are fighting with each other, and didn't even
bother to get inspections this year. I didn't take it
any farther with him, but I am pretty sure that most
of the engines would have passed because many of them
were passed after Medina. The only two engines there
steaming were hauled in, one from another club
steaming corn and one 1/2 scale.

Kinzer's was a different story!!!! Many many many
many engines steaming, only about 10 or so on dead
engine row. Met many nice people, saw lots of great
stuff and even took a photo of thick smoke, because
that was all that could be seen in the morning!!! I
did look for Curtis Cook and Mike Roher, but could not
find them.

I have about 500 or so photos of both shows, but need
to get them transferred for viewing by others.
