Cecil's observations about digital cameras are right on track as far as I'm
concerned and the link to Steves-digicam is the absolute best tool you will
find if you want to fully research the camera you intend to buy.   The only
problem you will have with the steves-digicam web site is TOO MUCH
information.   He does a complete evaluation of almost every camera
currently in the market.   Usually the the summary at the end of his several
pages of analysis is all you will need to read.
