[AJD] Styled A "Cut Away"

Yes the cutaways were Deere items and many different versions were made. I have cutaway B but don't believe it's a JD item. Still "potentially" a neat item anyway.
Most were chromed/painted in various sections for display and had an electric motor underneath to slowly motor the internals over.
A friend of mine has a 60 I think it is and others survive.
Recent observations are that a Western Coast JD club recently sold a cutaway 20 or 30 series on Ebay for less than $3000! Sure it needed restored but I was floored. If it was a genuine Deere item, which I believe it was, it was worth far far more than that. Even New Generations had cutaways. Also different pieces of equipment.
And 2-3 years ago I was amazed to see a modern cutaway on the floor of the JD dealer's Expo. It was a fully cutaway 6000 series utility tractor with chrome. Talk about chrome! A full dress Harley had nothing on this! It had been brought over from the Manheim, Germany factory and in fact the employee in charge of it even came over with it! He told me it travels all over Europe to farm shows, etc.
I may be nuts but I thought I had covered some of this in a Green Mag article?? If not I'm far worse off than I thought!
