Well, like an idiot, I forgot to remember what everyone said they were gonna
wear and such. I also was unable to get there in time on Friday to 'make
the meet' that was suggested. I agree with Carl, Friday turned into a
mess... BUT, they did hold the pulls still!!! About 6pm, they got a road
grader out and scraped down the track. Then started with the 7500# class,
and worked down from there.

When I went back on Sat, I decided it was time to renew my membership...
went up to the booth, and mentioned to the lady I was surprised the show was
still on.... she asked why, and my response? Why cuz the sun is out of
course!!! :-)

Was a great show, and had a good time. Wish I could have met up with list
members.... I live about 20 minutes from the show grounds, so if anyone is
in the area, drop me an email.

Mike

Got to the show about 1:30 on Friday and it was only sprinkling. Enjoyed
the orange show until about 4:30 when we headed for the flea market and it
started to rain enough to shut it mostly down. Too wet to pull, so we went
home. Didn't run into anyone I knew this year, but enjoyed talking to a
number of fellas that I didn't. Talked to a young fellow, about 16, who had
from ground up restored a WD to a real show piece. He, like many at the
show, likes Persian #2 better than #1, so he transgressed and used it on the
WD. I am Carl Gogol and I approve of this practice! :-). We must need to
formalize some meeting there next year or none of us will ever connect in
person.
